It all started when…
Winse Hayward first brought to life the Niseko Shootout Instagram contest in 2018.
After the first year’s success, Winse teamed up with a group of local volunteers eager to build on the momentum of the first year; expanding the Shootout to encompass an annual Pro Am photography competition and, the now well-known, Niseko Short Film Festival.
The Niseko Shootout is a non-profit organisation created vehicle to showcase our region, as well as provide a platform for local and visiting photographers, cinematographers and film crews to express themselves.
