Torah Bright
Torah Bright is quite simply a modern legend in the sport of snowboarding. While her gold, silver and bronze medals in the Winter Olympics, X Games and other world-wide competitions are undeniably impressive, it is how Torah has carved her path that is the most incredible. She has accomplished feats no other female ever has in her sport with her fearless execution of progressive tricks and technical combos redefined what was possible. Bundled with relentless optimism and endearing personality, Torah has captivated a global audience. Torah had joined the Niseko Shootout ProAM back in 2019 when the first ProAM started. Paul Wright
Passionate and an accomplished snow skier, Paul fell in love with the sport from the young age of 10, thanks to his grandmother who encouraged him into the sport through her annual ski trips with his brothers and cousins. Paul is the General Manager of Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, and has been working with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts throughout Australia and Asia for the past 30 years, including Bali, Dubai, South Korea and Beijing prior to Niseko. Paul is also actively involved in the community of Niseko, as a Director on the board of Niseko Tourism, a member of the Niseko Tourism marketing committee.
10歳の頃に行った家族とスキー旅行で、スキーに魅了されて以来、スキーに変わらぬ情熱を惜しみなく注いでいます。ポールはパークハイアットニセコHANAZONOでの総支配人であり、バリ、ドバイ、韓国、北京など、過去30年にわたりオーストラリアとアジア各地のハイアットホテル&リゾートに勤務してきました。ポールはニセコプロモーションボードの理事、及びニセコプロモーションボードのマーケティング部会のメンバーです。
Kentaro Hoshi 星 健太郎
Kentaro Hoshi is the Sales & Marketing Manager and Creative Director of Niseko Hanazono Resort. He studied Graphic Design in London and worked for a Tokyo based design company and moved to Niseko in 2007. Kentaro has been working as a graphic designer for Hanazono since 2010, and created design including Yama Plus and other Hanazono branding. Since 2020 he has been also in charge of sales and marketing, and promoting Niseko United and Hanazono worldwide.
星 健太郎はニセコHANAZONOリゾートのセールス&マーケティングマネージャー兼クリエイティブディレクターです。ロンドンでグラフックデザインを学び、デザイン会社勤務を経て2007年にニセコへ移住した健太郎は、グラフィックデザイナーとして2010年より、YAMA PLUSを始め、HANAZONOのブランディング全般を手がけています。2020年からはセールスマーケティングマネージャーを兼任し、ニセコユナイテッドとHANAZONOを世界にプロモーションしています。
Taro Tamai 玉井 太朗
Taro Tamai is the founder of Gentemstick and a Niseko icon. Gentemstick is a snowboard brand born in Niseko two decades ago that has played a major role in revolutionising snow surfing across the globe. Taro started snowboarding as a teenager and reached the pinnacle of the competitive side of the sport, before branching off to explore the world, surfing the oceans and mountains and bringing the soul back to snowboarding. Aaron Jamieson
Aaron Jamieson is the Photography Editor for Powderlife Magazine and a founder of the Niseko Shootout. A long-term Niseko resident, he has spent over 20 years documenting Hokkaido’s mountain culture. His work captures the architecture, landscapes, and legendary powder that define the region. Alongside his commercial and editorial projects, Aaron is passionate about showcasing Niseko’s snow and community to a global audience through powerful imagery. Eric Pollard
One of the most influential skiers of all time, Eric has helped shape modern freeskiing. He has been a professional skier since he was 15 years old, skiing in major ski productions such as Matchstick Productions, Poor Boyz Productions, and Warren Miller. Over the years he has directed, produced, edited, filmed and skied in his own movies under the “Nimbus Independent” brand. and has designed his own pro model products for Line Skis, Anon, and Dakine. Eric has spent over a decade designing and innovating ski equipment and has recently started his own ski company called “Season Eqpt”.

Matt Hampton
Co-founder of Rhythm Japan and mastermind behind local powder apparel brand Oyuki, Matt has been working and riding in Niseko for 20 years. He is highly aware of the special skills it takes to capture the raw beauty of the area and tell its unique story. Through his involvement with Rhythm and Oyuki, Matt has worked with some of the best photographers and videographers in the snow sports industry, while actively supporting the careers of many globally renowned skiers and snowboarders such as Pep Fujas, Eric Jackson, Anna Segal, Maude Raymond, Maude Raymond and local legends Toshiya ‘Kassun’ Kasuga and Gen Sasaki.

Winse Heyward
Having been in the snow industry for 17 years, Winse has worked and trained in Colorado, New Zealand, Montana, Quebec and finally Japan for the past 10 years. Winse started the Niseko Shootout in 2018 and proudly continues to work with the Niseko Shootout Team to bring the area a growing event series every year. Taking inspiration from events enjoyed in his time around the world, he figured how could Niseko, and the world’s best powder snow, not be showcased in a similar way!?
ウィンス ヘイワードは17年間スノー産業に携わってきました。過去10年間、コロラド、ニュージーランド、モンタナ、ケベック、そして日本で仕事を行ってきました。ウィンスは2018年にニセコシュートアウトを始め、シュートアウトチームと共に、毎年成長するイベントを通して地域に貢献できることを誇りに感じています。世界各地で行われているイベントからインスピレーションを得て、ニセコと世界最高のパウダースノーを紹介する機会を設けたいという一心からニセコシュートアウトを企画しました。
Ryunosuke Tanaka 田中 竜之介
An amazing skier himself and passionate about the Niseko area, Tanaka-san has been in Niseko for almost 30 years and wand spent over a decade leading marketing for a local ski resort. An amazing skier himself and deeply passionate about the Niseko area, he brings valuable insight and experience to this year’s judging panel.
With three sons who are all active and skilled skiers, the mountains are truly a family affair. We’re excited to have Tanaka-san as one of the Niseko Film Festival judges.
ニセコに約30年住み、地元スキーリゾートで10年以上マーケティングを担当してきました。彼自身も素晴らしいスキーヤーであり、ニセコエリアに情熱的に貢献しています。
